Archives of the Dead

Todd Jordan and his wife are big fans of the Zombie genre. In fact, they are such big fans that they decided to create a website/database of all things zombie related, including a Zombie Blog, Zombie Links, Zombie Memorabilia (with Zombie Soundtracks, Scripts, Artwork and Promotion Guides, and yes, Toys and Action Figures). There's Book and Comic sections, Masks and Prop sections, and so much more.

I will let you learn more about their site in their own words:

My wife and I are big fans of the Zombie genre. We hope this website will help you greatly.

We came up with the idea for Archives Of The Dead while collecting zombie related items over the years. We had never seen a website or database anywhere that had listed all things zombie related. We hope that as we collect and discover new items that other fans can benefit from our research.

Please be patient as the website is always being updated and it is currently not finished as of December 2008.

We hope to add an archive of links and expand our listings. Right now you will notice some are empty, it will take time to have them done. If you have any thoughts on how to better the website or want to help please let us know.

Please note you will find limited comic/humor related Zombies items and very few cross genre Zombie items. At this time we have decided not to archive the likes of Resident Evil, House Of The Dead or other fringe related Zombie items and B-Side independent obscurities. Only a select few have been listed and approved at this time. We are focused mainly on the George Romero sytle Zombie and work inside that framework. We want to stay more select, meaning that we list only those items grounded in a more realistic based setting with less fantasty focused survival and human social interaction settings. You will see that in our listing of books. At this time, no Zombie dogs or car driving mutant Zombies from Mars. Respectfully.

We encourage our visitors to join the discussion forum with feedback or if you see an item that we don't have listed yet. When posting information about a missing item or an error, please include as much details as possible. We will need photos, sizes, release dates, etc..

Visit Archives of the Dead here.

I've been meaning to spend some time on that site but there's so much stuff on it I haven't had the time.

The original text appears on WELL KNOWN LONG ESTABLISHED sites
